Doha (Introductory Verse):
With the dust of Guru's Lotus feet, I clean the mirror of my mind,
And then narrate the sacred glory of Sri Ram Chandra, The Supreme among the Raghus, Whose mere remembrance enables one to cross the ocean of mundane existence.
Chaupai (Verses):
Knowing myself to be ignorant, I urge you, O Hanuman, The Son of Pavan! O Lord! kindly Bestow on me strength, wisdom, and knowledge, removing all my miseries and blemishes.
1: Glory to Hanuman, the ocean of wisdom and virtue! Hail Monkey Lord, illuminator of the three worlds!
2: You are the divine messenger with immeasurable strength, whose name is known throughout the world as the son of Anjani.
3: Mahavir, the invincible, the powerful and mighty hero, the companion of the wise and remover of negative thoughts.
4: Adorned with a golden hue and a charming attire, wearing earrings and with tufts of curly hair.
5: In your hands shine the Vajra (thunderbolt) and flag, while your shoulder is adorned with the sacred thread and a garland.
6: You are the son of Shiva, the beloved son of Kesari, whose radiant splendor is worshipped by the entire world.
7: Endowed with wisdom, virtues, and great intelligence, you are ever eager to perform the deeds of Sri Ram.
8: Listening with rapture to the divine exploits of Sri Ram, Sri Lakshman, and Sita, you dwell in their hearts.
9: Assuming a diminutive form, you appeared before Sita, while assuming a gigantic form, you burnt down Lanka.

11: Bringing the Sanjivani herb, you revived Lakshman, filling Sri Ram with delight.
12: Praising you greatly, Sri Ram hugged you, saying, "You are as dear to me as my own brother Bharata."

14: The sage Sanaka and other saints, along with the gods, praised you, O mighty one!
15: Yama (the god of death), Kubera (the god of wealth), and the guardians of the four quarters are unable to describe your prowess.
16: You rendered a great service to Sugriva, enabling him to meet Sri Ram and regain his kingdom.
17: Heeding your advice, Vibhishana became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows.
18: Traveling thousands of miles to consume the sun, you mistook it for a fruit and leapt towards it.
19: Placing Sri Ram's ring in your mouth, you crossed the ocean. No wonder this seemed miraculous!
20: All difficult tasks in the world are rendered easy by your grace.
21: You are the guardian at Sri Ram's door; no one can enter without your permission.
22: Whoever seeks refuge in you finds all happiness; no fear need be entertained when you are the protector.
23: You can curb your own splendor; you are capable of suppressing the three worlds.
24: Ghosts and goblins do not come near when one utters your name, O Mahavir (valiant hero)!
25: All ailments and afflictions are removed when one continuously chants the name of Hanuman, the mighty warrior.
26: Hanuman, the dispeller of all distress, rescues one who meditates on him with mind, deed, and speech.
27: Sri Ram, the ascetic king, is always served by you; all his tasks are accomplished by you.
28: Whatever desires are offered to you are fulfilled; such is the boon of a long and fulfilled life.
